Regarding Latest Confrontation

Ona MOVE,
There should be no doubt in any one's mind that this system has the full intention
of using the on-going custody battle as an excuse to once and for all exterminate
the MOVE Organization. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that this is,
in fact, a confrontation between MOVE and this system and anyone who supports
or sympathizes with MOVE should do what they can to back this system off of
MOVE through whatever means necessary.
The events of May 13th should have extinguished the illusion that this system
has any concern for MOVE children. When you have concern for someone, you do
not shoot at them with guns. When you have concern for someone, you do not drop
bombs on them. Anyone who is under the hallucination that this system has any
concern for MOVE kids during this confrontation is a fool.
People on the radio here in Philadelphia have been asking what has MOVE done
to avert this crisis. What should be asked is what the government is planning
to do to stop this insanity. MOVE has done everything aside from surrendering
their belief to ensure a peaceful end to this crisis. Many who doubt MOVE's
position
on this matter are saying things like "well, so what if the father is able
to have unsupervised visits, what harm is there in that"? MOVE is not foolish
enough to underestimate the treachery of this kind of agreement and will not
be bowed by this type of indifference. MOVE's core belief is in protection of
life and this is something that will not be compromised just to please a few
confused people. It should also be made clear that MOVE has not denied John
Gilbride from seeing his son. MOVE has always made it a point to encourage him
to visit with his child and not only that, but Gilbrides parents have also been
allowed to visit
the child whenever. The reality is that MOVE's belief is in the protection of
LIFE and for them to turn over their child to someone who has shown a blatant
disregard for his life, the life of his wife, the life of his child would be
insane. Would the people who would criticize MOVE for not bowing to authorities
allow the Taliban to take their children every other week. No one would agree
to that and no one should expect MOVE to surrender
their children to a system that has proven to have no regard for the life of
children, much less to a man who is clearly unstable and who has demonstrated
a propensity for kidnap. The father works for US Airways and has access to the
child's passport. If he would be allowed to have an unsupervised visit, MOVE
knows that
they would never see the child again.
Many people talk about standing up to this system; however, when the pressure
is on these people, they fall apart. MOVE is not going to fall apart and the
system, despite it's wicked treachery, will meet with the failure that has come
to characterize their relationship with MOVE. MOVE is taking a stand and the
support of all freedom loving people is needed. People who have the ability
to come to Philadelphia need to make preparations to move at a moments notice.
For when, and if, the time comes to act, there might not be much warning. People
who are too far to come to Philly need to get the phone numbers of officials
and media outlets in Philadelphia and put pressure on them to not follow in
the folly of the May 13th massacre. MOVE has international supporters, and those
of you who are needed to take immediate action can do so by going to U.S. embassies
and U.S. monetary interests and demand that America not again make war on it's
own citizens and if it chooses to do so, there will be serious repercussions.
Alberta Africa is taking a stand as a mother to protect her child. More than
a mere right, it is her obligation as a mother to take this stand in protection
of her innocent child. It is past time for people to stop surrendering their
god-given instincts to a faceless, bureaucratic machine that exists solely for
it's own benefit.
This is the beginning. Take a stand and live your life for you. Make today your first.
